Perfect Girl Evolution (ヤマトナデシコ七変化)



A manga series written by Tomoko Hayakawa. The individual chapters have been serialized in Bessatsu Friend since its premiere in 2000, and in 21 tankōbon volumes in Japan by Kodansha. The series was licensed for an English language release in North America by Del Rey Manga and in Singapore by Chuang Yi & mdash; under the name My Fair Lady. Nippon Animation adapted part of the manga series into a twenty-five episode anime series which aired on TV Tokyo and TV Aichi from October 3, 2006 through March 27, 2007. [1]

Four handsome guys get to live in a gorgeous, large mansion for free. There’s only one catch: Turn the land lady’s niece into a “lady”. Soon the boys find out this is no easy task, Sunako, the girl in question, is a gothic, horror movie freak who looks like Sadako from The Ring. An action comedy shoujo manga series by Yoshiki Nakamura.

Life in the year 2020 in Tokyo is tough, as crime rates are high. To prevent their daughter from being exposed to these crimes, Tsukasa's parents raised her to be a male. Tsukasa aspires to be a policeman fighting against the mafia, just like her parents. However, her parents died in the line of work, leaving behind Tsukasa and her 3 brothers to fend for themselves. Tsukasa must thus work as a bodyguard for her classmate, Ryuji, who happens to be the leader of the most powerful mafia gang in Tokyo, to pay off the family's debts. [1]

Kaichou wa Maid-sama (会長はメイド様!)



Translates to "Student Council President is a Maid!" in English is a shoujo manga by Hiro Fujiwari. It is currently serialized in LaLa magazine, and currently there are 5 published volumes released in Japan. In the Anime Expo 2008 panel, North American publisher, Tokyopop announces its various newly licensed series and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! will be titled as Maid-sama!.

In a high school recently turned from all-boy to coed, Misaki Ayuzawa, chairwoman of student council, battles "stinky and dirty" male students every day to protect the few (20%) females in school. Off campus, she works hard at a maid café to supplement the income of her household (as well as leftover foods) after her father had deserted the family -- whose action contributed to her hatred toward males. A shoujo manga by Takao Shigeru. It has 4 volumes and a total of 21 chapters. A fantastic manga that will surely make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Satoko is a 17 yr old sweet girl that lives with her mom, after her father died when she was young they became very poor, but lives happily each day. One day the company which satoko's mother works at goes bankrupt and leaves her mother with a 1 billion debt. Fumma is a 10 yr old boy who is also president of Wakudera Corporation, which satoko's mother once worked for. He pays of the debt and brings them to live with him. Satoko finds out that there parents had arranged a marriage between the two long ago, but at first it seems difficult for her to be
with someone 7 yrs younger. [1]

So when a new classmate, Reo Aoi, turns out to be a scary guy who resembles a wild animal than anything human, she is intrigued. Not only because Reo has an affinity with animals which she envies, but also because he isn’t the wild animal that he seems to be. He seems to hide a very sweet disposition behind his scary features. Or so she thought. The truth is revealed when they are attacked and Reo immediately behaves like a wild animal and gets violent like a blood-thirsty animal, just to save Yuiko. [2]

A Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ayano Yamane, also the author of Finder Series/ Viewfinder. It is licensed in North America by Kitty Media and in Germany by Tokyopop Germany.

In attempt to save his country, prince Valdrigue uses the cursed sword, which once belonged to his father. Now he is slowly turning into beast and the only person who can save him is mysterious and powerful wizard Hallwill (Halvir). In exchange for help Valdrigue must accompany the wizard in his quest for magical devices. When Hallwill sees the beast side of Valdrigue, he finds it quite attractive. But the prince, who is unaware of his actions as a beast, knows nothing of Hallwill's doings. Meanwhile the curse case seems more complicated than they've anticipated.

Shinshi Doumei Cross (紳士同盟†)



A shoujo manga by Arina Tanemura, and was published in Ribon. The name was taken from a Japanese song of the same title, it was also known as The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross in English. The manga is licenced in North America by Viz Media. [1]

Otomiya Haine is a student at the Imperial Academy, an exclusive school for the children of rich families. The school is socially stratified according to money, and Haine is near the very bottom of the lowest stratum. To complicate matters, she has set her heart on the highest-ranking student, Tougu Shizumasa, the student council's president. As impossible as the odds may seem, Haine-chan's innate optimism keeps her going, as she pursues her love. [2]

Hana Yori Dango (花より男子)



A Japanese shoujo manga series by Yoko Kamio. It was serialized in the bi-weekly anthology magazine Margaret, which is aimed at high-school-age girls. The manga series ran continuously from October 1992 to September 2003, and was collected into 36 tankoubon volumes. By 2003, the story had been adapted in Japan into an anime television series, a live-action television drama, an animated movie set in a parallel universe, and a live-action movie. It has also served as the basis for a live-action drama TV series from Taiwan called Meteor Garden. Also, an all-new Japanese live-action drama series premiered on October 2005 on TBS. By Summer 2003, both the manga and anime TV series were available in English in North America from VIZ Media as Boys Over Flowers. [1]

16 Year old Makino Tsukushi is 16-year old girl, from a mid-class family, who, due to her brains, gets into an ultra high-class school called Eitoku Gakuen. One day she accidentally gets on the F4’s, bad side *they’re a gang at school*, and from then on she suffers from hazing.
